Once you have your playdough made- see the BEST PLAYDOUGH RECIPE- then the fun begins. For the first week just start with the playdough, your utensils and shapes on their own. After a few plays, add a little surprise to mix it up.
We made blue playdough and after a few plays we added silver glitter!
Then after a week of having blue and silver glitter playdough, we added some accessories- which was plastic bottle tops we had been collecting.
You can also try adding rice for a different texture.
