Tracing around hands, feet and bodies

Trace on paper with textas either around your child's whole body or only around their hands and feet, the final picture is always so intriguing and creative- the kids love this one. NOW LETS DECORATE....
Tracing hands and feet is heaps of fun as you can make funny creatures and animals out of your fingers and toes. Adding craft materials can also make a funky masterpiece.
(PICTURED) Trace their hand black with their fingers pointing down and their thumb out to the side and let them colour the hand in black and glue cotton balls onto the palm to make a black sheep. Use this picture to sing 'baa baa black sheep' and why not make lots of sheep- make a whole herd. The kids will love having their hands traced. Also....

Very effective is tracing their whole body onto paper, they can colour themselves in and draw their own face, add their hair (wool, feathers, fabric) and their favourite clothes. You can also add cut out magazine pictures and glue and let them choose the pictures that they would love to stick onto themselves.
